New Music From Synopse

Friends, how many of us have them?

In 1984, the legendary rap group Whodini released the album Escape containing classics like “The Freaks Come Out at Night”, “Big Mouth” and of course “Friends”. Fast forward to the present where Doxside’s own Synopse flips the classic track “Friends”. Synopse says, “Even though 'Friends' came out in 1984, the topic of the original still rings true today: watch out for punk ass friends and tricks.” This new version has no intent of replacing the original, but is simply an ode to the greatness. Enjoy!

TzariZM's "Heart & Brain ..." Ft. on HipHopDX: 4X RATING!

"... this album's unpretentious charm makes it soar in an era of industry-evangelist rappers." ~Hiphopdx.com

Above: "Heart & Brain Mbodiment" on DX

Doxside strikes again! TzariZM's Heart & Brain Mbodiment was reviewed on Hiphopdx.com today earning a 4 out of 5 X rating and 5 Xs from the website's users. TzariZM's album is described as having "simple-but-addictive beats" and "the working-man verses."

Every one of Mbodiment's 22 tracks deserves a serious listening to and the users of Hip Hop DX have shown they feel the same. The album currently reigns as the website's number one user rated album review of the month, which leaves vets like The Roots at number two. Much respect to DX for the feature!

New Music from MidaZ "Caught Up" Produced By TzariZM

"Caught Up" (produced by TzariZM)

BEASTmode season continues as a new joint from MidaZ The BEAST is allowed to rear its head, and find its way onto your respective playlists.
"Caught Up" sees MidaZ reunited with fellow Doxside teammate (and producer of the infectious "Peep This") TzariZM for
another stab at satisfying your headphones. Taking 90's r&b group Shai's biggest hit and turning it into good ol'
fashioned 'mean mug music' is almost disrespectful...just the way MidaZ and TzariZM intend for it to be. PEEP!!

Meet the Artist: @TzarizM

From dominationrechiphop.blogspot.com.....

Meet the Artist: TzariZM of The Heart & Brain

Please introduce yourself?
The name is TzariZM, Tzarmageddun, Tzarcasm, Tzar Warz, Tzarface, Super Tzario Bros, Tzarific, Tzartificial Intelligence, SuperTzar, Tzartin Lawrence, TZ McFLy, Tzarth Vader and I’m also known as the HEART…!

From where?
Born in Riverside, Cali…Raised in Memphis, TN...Now in the Orlando, FL aka The OZONE

Music Influences?
Easily Gang Starr, Wu-Tang Clan, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Redman, Busta and The Roots... Production wise: Primarily DJ Premier, Rza, DJ Scratch, DJ Shadow, Pete Rock, J Dilla and DITC

Debut appearance as an artist?
Single – AHAHAHAHA/ Sheema 12” vinyl (2002) followed by my first album “Dirty Work” (2003).

Best moment for you in Hip Hop?
Aside being able to release my own album...probably I’d have to say just being part of a very talented crew. I can’t think of anything better.

Tell us about your group The Heart & Brain?
I produced for a lot of Orlando artists in the last 10 years and one of the emcee was Vis Major formerly known as Poetix. He was part of a group called The Tenth. After producing joints for them back in 2002 / 2003, I thought it would be dope if me and him dropped a project together…Tzar on the beats, Vis on the rhymes. So in 2004, we started recording track after track over time eventually being in the position to drop an EP in 2007 to hold people off until the album drops. The good folk at Domination Recordings helped make it happen!

Your about to release your new album "Mbodiment", who are some of the artists that you collaborated with?
The album features Akrobatik, Supastition (Kam Moye), Butta Verses, Wordsworth, MidaZ The BEAST, Illustrate of Grey Matter, Critical of Critical Madness, Sienna Blayze, and Sekani…and Mylodic & Tamara Bernard providing additional vocals….and DJ YNOT and DJ Dolo on the scratchs and cuts.

What's next as an artist?
Letting people know that I am an emcee first since I have been playing the producer roll for over 5...I’ve only been known for beats and now its time to get back to my roots...Rockin’ the mic!…An album is on the way called “Close 2 Home” with Critical and myself on the mic, over all of my production as well- featuring Madness, Little Vic & Rugged. Also I’m finalizing my album now featuring production from Oddisee, J-Zone, JuJu, Synopse, myself and my brother/partner IMAKEMADBEATS. There will be other random projects/releases to drop through the year as well. Catch my features on IMAKEMADBEATS debut album and EP’s “Daylight/ Nightlight”, beats and rhymes on MidaZ’s album AU and plenty of work with other dope collaborators in the mix.

Shout outs?
My brotha IMAKEMADBEATS, DOXSIDE Music Group, Urban Jungle Empire, Domination Recordings, all of my fam yall know who you are…and all of my heads around the world that support me- OZONE!!!

IMAKEMADBEATS featuring MidaZ and J Freedome

Return With A Mask On

Return With a Mask On ft. MidaZ & J Freedome by IMAKEMADBEATS

IMAKEMADBEATS

In 2009, the hip hop world at large learned what many in the underground have known for years: IMAKEMADBEATS is a force to be reckoned with. An enigmatic mad scientist in the lab, IMAKEMADBEATS (also known as NeMo) cut his teeth early on as an engineer in NYC’s legendary Quad Studios and would later garner critical acclaim across the board for The Transcontinental (E-1/Koch), his collaborative project with Stones Throw rapper Roc C, (also featuring underground icons Oh No, Rapper Big Pooh, Chino XL, and Wildchild).

To say that IMAKEMADBEATS is prolific in his craft is something of an understatement. “I have around 1600 beats that I still have Pro Tools session files for, around 200-300 beats that I only have 2-track mixes of, and if I had to modestly guess, around 400-500 beats on CDs that never made it out of the beat machine and are on disks,” he says. “A lot of times, beats have taken the place of food. It’s not even that I’m the fastest producer – I’m just producing most of the time.”

That work ethic equals a healthy amount of treats for IMAKEMADBEATS fans this year. First on deck is the Daylight/Nightlight split-EP, a concept project on Culture Kings Music featuring Butta Verses (De La Soul’s The Grind Date) and MidaZ the Beast (El MidaZ Affair, MidaZ Vs. Pete Rock). Following that release, NeMo will drop IMAKEMADBEATS, a compilation album featuring Black Milk, Steele of Smif n Wesson, Von Pea (Tanya Morgan), Butta Verses, Hezekiah, and more.

Press:

"IMAKEMADBEATS makes sure to live up to his name...and shows why he was chosen to make the beats for the entire [Transcontinental] project." -HipHopDX.com

"Thankfully, IMAKEMADBEATS's name isn't misplaced hubris; [The Transcontinental] is nothing short of a supernova." -URB

"Roc C has discovered a producer who can bring out his best." -REMIX Mag

The Sunshine State of Mind Presents...

Synopse - April 29th at BackBooth, Orlando, FL

Returning to Ozone from NY, producer/emcee TzarizM will grace the stage as well, alongside Grey Matter, Am I Am, and Varras Tower.
